MPD nearly killed the last pet on me, so I wrote a new script to compensate. As long as MPD doesn't crit on it's last move before dying it should be good :-)

I actually suggest using an H/P breed snail so that you don't end up in the rare case of winning the fight before the script swaps in your level pet. (edited)

I used a lvl 23 Silkbead Snail for this (H|S - Blue) Who lived through the entire fight.
Which was a mistake bc i do have a lvl 25 Silkbead Snail, I just slotted the wrong one.
Still worked out perfectly fine.

Also gained 8 lvls for a lvl 1 Fossilised Hatchling (with Safari hat buff only) (edited)

I think the issue is that if RNG hates you, you can get stuck on enemy #2 with your MPD sitting there doing nothing. Perhaps add an enemy #3 condition.

Strat worked very well. I would recommend a snail with Health/Power if you have them as even an S/S isn't fast enogh, I used a level 23 H/P Mudshell Conch and it worked just fine.

I agree with the previous comment about SS snail not being fast enough. My Rapana Whelk didn't survive, but I was able to switch back to MPD and follow-up with a Decoy, Thunderbolt and Breath combo to finish the job.

I used a Rapana Whelk, which I guess is a snail lol, but anyway...after I switched to the snail from the level pet I died a few times using Turn 2 Goo, Dive, then dead...I just skipped the Goo and just Dived and I won. Just an FYI unless its breed specific.

If you are using this team & strategy... Blizzard changed Consume Corpse to 3 round cooldown (down from 5) three months past Legion release, the original strat was done on Beta servers. It's still working but Nightmare Sprout now often consumes all ally corpses for 2 massive heals.

Dann hast aber das Prinzip von Level-Pet-Wechseln nicht verstanden. Die müssen nur am Ende einer Runde anwesend gewesen sein, um XP zu bekommen. Das funktioniert entweder im 1. Slot und erfordert 1 Aktion (bzw. 1x Passen) oder im besten Fall durch direktes Ein- und wieder Auswechseln nach dem Ableben eines eigenen Pets (hier des Mech. Pandarendrachling).

Du hast Recht, dass man gegen Xorvasc's Team das Level-Pet auch in Slot 1 packen könnte, weil der Wichtel in Runde 1 noch keinen Schaden macht, das würde aber bei der hier verwendeten Strategie dafür sorgen, dass die Schnecke nicht mehr rechtzeitig tauchen kann und dann deine Pets ausgetauscht werden und alles durcheinander kommt.
Das Tauchen hat den selben Cooldown wie Nethertor und wird hier mit voller Absicht immer eine Runde vor diesem verwendet, um genau diesen Pet-Tausch zu verhindern.

Totaler Blödsinn, das Level-Pet beim 3. Gener kurz rein zu nehmen. Das Pet wird gekillt und bekommt keine EXP. Das Level-Pet muss als Erster antreten und nach einem Hit gewechselt werden. Der Gegner bufft sich nämlich am Anfang erst einmal.
