Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 14+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

This script worked for me, but with a caveat. If MPD gets stunned off the bat you'll likely have to finish the fight with your leveling pet, so I recommend a 20+ 3rd pet.

ability(Ravage:802) [ enemy.hp<617 ]
ability(Nature's Ward:574) [ !self(Teroclaw Hatchling:1416).aura(Nature's Ward:820).exists ]
ability(Alpha Strike:504)
ability(Decoy:334)
ability(Breath:115)

change(Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling:844) [ self(#2).active ] (edited)

Lazy strat description

Snowtracker wrote on 2018-12-01 21:51:03

Nope. Used a 23 Ikky as level pet. Mindbender just crushes ikky and the MPD. Can never get 1st shot at mindbender

I have used this strat and team every time the WQ is up, it is always close. Last pet survives with 208-245 health remaining, but I have never once had it fail.

Prudentius

wrote on 2018-08-23 17:07:50

I'm just going to point out that this fight is innately RNG because of Rain Dance significantly increasing the chance of crit.

That said I found the script offered to be overly complex at points. If your Teroclaw Hatchling gets its beak ripped off by the first enemy pet its best just to restart the fight. nature's ward should only ever be cast once because Water Jet will destroy the hatchling is Nature's Ward is still applied after the second enemy pet is in play for two rounds.

This is the TD Script I wrote:

change(next) [ self(#1).dead & ! self(#3).played ]
ability(Ravage:802) [ enemy.hp < 617 ]
ability(Ravage:802) [ self.speed.slow ]
ability(Nature's Ward:574) [ enemy(#1).hp.full ]
ability(Decoy:334) [ enemy.ability(Darkflame:792).duration < 2 ]
ability(#1)

Feel free to use the first line for pet swapping, but be mindful of enemy pet abilities that pull in your highest health backline pet.

Tuma

wrote on 2018-08-23 19:13:50

Your script just spams Nature's Ward because the enemy is never damaged.

Prudentius

wrote on 2018-08-24 11:37:40

Final revision didn't save from the look of it.
That line should read
ability(Nature's Ward:574) [ enemy(#1).hp.full & self.aura(Nature's Ward:820).duration < 1 ]

The team works well, the instructions are not great though. You do not want Nature's Ward up when you fight the second opponent. If your Teroclaw makes it to the third, Nature's Ward is again helpful. Only ravage if it will kill the opponent, make sure you do it to opponent 1 and 2. As soon as your Dragonling enters, Decoy and Breath until you win.

I did this today. My Teroclaw Hatchling is H/P breed and solo'd the first 2 opposing pets and got the 3rd to 650 health before it finally died. I brought in my level pet. Then MPD which only JUST survived, but indeed, it did survive and finish the fight. It may be RNG dependant but it was 100% reliable for me and it was my first attempt.

Terrible, not reliable at all

anon wrote on 2018-08-23 16:38:09

This strat makes no sense. My Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling gets absolutely wrecked as soon as he comes into the battle.

Ravynsur

wrote on 2018-08-23 13:09:16

Teroclaw wiped the floor with the first 2 pets and has a large amount of health left by the time Mind Warper comes in. I accidentally renewed Natures Ward when he came in, so to get my level pet in on the action I hit a few Alpha Strikes until Mind Warper killed him off. Brought in level pet, and then followed the remainder of the strat as written above.

simrock

wrote on 2018-08-23 07:34:07

Script should read
ability(Nature's Ward:574) [ !self.aura(Nature's Ward:820).exists & enemy.hp>309 & !enemy(#2).active ]
on line 3, otherwise Nature's Ward is casted too often causing your Teroclaw Hatchling to die to the 2nd enemy

Palorii#1278

Adding this fix to the script made all the difference!

Aarmo#21132

wrote on 2018-08-23 09:54:33

worked well, but you might want to rewrite the tursn as priority instead. it makes it a bit easyer to understand :)

Moo wrote on 2018-08-23 08:51:30

not working and not worth the time

Ruta wrote on 2018-08-23 06:47:19

Turn 1 Decoy if Darkflame has 1 turn left

Should just read Decoy. Works well otherwise if you discount your levelling pet dying regularly.

Churros wrote on 2018-08-23 04:04:52

I think the strat works better and is easier to understand for everyone if the Alpha Strike is placed above the Ravage step -- Teroclaw can easily solo almost all three if you stick with the Nature's Ward x2 and Ravage til <309 HP. I saw 'Ravage' listed as the 2nd turn and didn't understand what it meant initially. If you are super familiar with every spell and how much damage it does, that's fine, but not everyone is.

Ibiza wrote on 2018-08-20 14:21:18

Failed 3 times, last time marginally win, not reliable strat

Your Teroclaw handles the first two pets easy, just finish of with your Dragonling. Make sure you get your decoy in first. Then just breath away :)
