High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

ability(Cocoon Strike:506)
ability(Nature's Touch:573)

My Cricket was dying before Gulp so I used the following turn:
1) Cocoon Strike
2) Skitter
3) Skitter
4) Nature's Touch
5) Skitter
6) Cocoon Strike
7) Skitter
8) Nature's Touch
9) Skitter (Gulp dies)
Use abilities on cooldown until your Cricket dies.

Petbubbles wrote on 2018-11-10 09:05:46

I did it with Darkmoon Hatchling 1.2.1 and Mr Wiggles 1.2.2
third pet never saw any action.

Proshvam

wrote on 2018-06-27 20:02:39

Not sure what I'm doing wrong... my cricket is always dying before he kills Gulp and then the whole fight just goes downhill.

PriestessStefy

wrote on 2018-04-18 19:32:03

I didn't have any crickets so I played around abit and successfully won with the following:

Bush Chicken (1/1/1) Darkmoon Rabbit (2/2/1) and Crispin (2/2/2).

Start off with Flock followed by Headbutt - gets rid of Gulp Easily. I was able to flock one more time until Egbert killed the Bush Chicken. You bring in Darkmoon Rabbit, use Huge Sharp Teeth x2 and Red Wire comes in - Swap to Crispin and follow the above strategy (replacing stampede with Flamethrower) and it worked like a charm

Ignisis wrote on 2017-03-05 12:21:01

I brought an auburn ringtail (1/1/1) into this fight as 3rd and it actually did wonders against red wire due to his poison atk. easy to get pet :)

Nice 3rd pet pick. Thanks.

daedelusikarius wrote on 2017-04-18 03:40:33

I used a tolai hare instead of a cricket. start off with dodge, then stampede, dodge on cd and scratch when neither is available. then from there when it dies go with the start using the squirrel and i had a chipmunk in the third slot

Tsaavik wrote on 2017-08-16 01:22:13

Your rabbit/hare needs > 294 speed

Gulp: Dodge(Gulp's Mudslide), Stampede, Scratch, start over
Egcellent: Dodge(Egcellent's Adrenaline rush), Stampede, then die (atleast I do)

Deso wrote on 2017-06-01 03:50:35

Singing Cricket got the same abilities like Red Cricket, so if you don't have Red Cricket, Singing is good replacement.

Mits wrote on 2017-03-05 23:06:16

I used Olivetail hare(121) . Burrowed for Armageddon and popped back in to kill Egcellent :)

Maui-Turtle wrote on 2017-02-14 22:14:04

Worked great, Cricket & Squirrel took care of all 3

gerana wrote on 2017-01-29 20:17:42

grassland hopper (121), auburn ringtail (111), and dust bunny (222). Used dodge to avoid red wire's Armageddon.

Zepherion wrote on 2017-01-29 11:58:55

I switched the squirrel with Crispin (2,2,2) followed the above strat until my red cricket died. Then from there keep following the strat but switch stampede with flame thrower.

KateUK wrote on 2017-01-01 12:06:49

I substituted Grassland Hopper for the Red Cricket and a Chipmunk for the squirrel but I couldn't get this to work. The first heal did nothing so I substituted another skitter for the first nature's touch, but the Hopper always died either just before Gulp or within one round of Eggcelent coming on and then the whole strategy went pear shaped. Eventually I tried Grassland Hopper and 2 rabbits, even though the first rabbit had stampede instead of burrow by mistake, it worked first time.

Soft wrote on 2016-12-23 17:41:49

Red Cricket can be substituted for Grassland Hopper.

Fink wrote on 2016-11-26 11:47:10

I think ive come up with pretty easy strategy, with pets not requiring any reputations like red cricket.
Brown Mamrot 1/1/2(been using speed breed) and two rabbits (2/2/1)
start with crouch, chomp, burrow before gulps second mudslide, chomp till dead, rabbits follow strategy: Turns 1+2 Burrow
Turn 3 Flurry
Turn 4 Flurry
Turn 5 Dodge
Turn 6 Flurry
i finished with 3rd pet nearly full hp

somedude wrote on 2016-12-23 11:02:15

Thanxxx! Used H/P rabbits, was lucky to cast second Burrow which has eaten Armageddon and killed Eggcelent in the end.

Frogprincess wrote on 2016-12-06 17:47:56

Great strat, had to use a chipmunk in place of squirrel. same pet by a different name

Krypti wrote on 2016-11-07 12:48:36

Tried this with:
Red cricket (1,2,1) (P/S)
Frostfur Rat (2,1,1) (S/S)
Rabbit (2,2,1) (H/P)

Survived with just 50 hp left on the Rabbit. Tough fight!

Jen wrote on 2016-11-08 00:32:39

I used the Red Cricket as per the strat but had no squirrels so used Rabbit as per your suggestion and snail as per another suggestion. Didn't even end up using the snail as cricket lasted through 1 pet dead, and other 2 down load.

Voodoou wrote on 2016-10-18 17:15:11

Didnt even need my thirdcritter, great strat

Malbaratar wrote on 2016-10-08 02:12:02

Eilistraee wrote on 2016-10-08 01:44:30

I tried this and other tips from wowhead but I got bashed by RNG. Then I tried all snails 2/2/1 and worked great.
