This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Foe reaping is really not so different from harvest reaping, at the end of the day.

Since I do not have a pandaren water spirit I used the following pets: Rose taipan, Ikky , did not need the 3rd pet. Rose Taipan was P/S.. Opened with poison fang and then blinding poison. Swapped to Ikky and then black claw and then flock. I just took 1 hit from him and it was over

Aluggo wrote on 2017-06-14 00:23:44

Not worth bringing a level pet only 319 XP with hat.

I have adjusted the TD Script for this fight because I for the most part disagree with using Geyser after he has revived. Most of the time this will just waste a round as your Water Spirit is able to finish him with Dive or Water Jet anyway. In the rare occurrence that the Water Spirit would die, a standard attack or two from any level 25 should be enough (try not to get countered though, as you take AoE throughout the fight). This is my first TD script so let me know if you have some feedback.

TD Script:

change(next) [self.dead]

if [self(Pandaren Water Spirit:868).active]
use(Dive:564) [enemy.aura(Mechanical:244).exists & enemy.hp>141]
use(Water Jet:118) [enemy.aura(Mechanical:244).exists]
use(Geyser:418)
use(Dive:564)
use(Water Jet:118)
endif

ability(#1)

Tecfan

Shorter version:

change(next) [self.dead]

use(Geyser:418) [!enemy.aura(Mechanical:244).exists]
use(Dive:564) [enemy.hp>140]
use(Water Jet:118)

I brought in a L18 Pandaren Fire Spirit in first place and had him cast Burn. Then switched him out for my first Pandaren Water Spirit and followed the details above. When he died, I brought in a second L25 Pandaren Water Spirit and picked up where the first one left off. It worked well. Thanks for the strategy, Xu-Fu.

script for this, my level 25 fire spirit got the reaper all the way into mech's bonus round before dying, so you could probably also do this with 2 fire spirits, just using burn

I found this strat on the web and used it. It worked like a charm. I used it for all 3 boss fights. Two turkeys. Peck and Food Coma. Food coma > switch turkey > peck, food coma > switch turkey - continue until the boss is dead. Turkeys take no damage at all because the boss is constantly stunned with food coma.

Tylan wrote on 2017-07-30 17:41:58

You know what made me the most mad about this strategy.... how well it worked. I even use 2 level 19 common Turkeys and it worked. Took forever and was awful, but it worked

JonDee wrote on 2017-07-30 18:51:10

Worked ridiculously well & made me laugh the whole time. Thanks!

Kathleene wrote on 2017-10-20 15:53:04

This is an absolutely delightful strategy! Poor Foe Reaper!! Can you imagine being pecked to death while you were napping? I'd love to see it listed as an official alternate.

I did have to modify it slightly; I don't know if the cooldown on Food Coma has been changed or what, but I had to use three Turkeys. That way, I could do the Peck, Food Coma, switch, Peck Food Coma, switch, ad infinitum. With only two Turkeys, they were getting hit while waiting for Food Coma to be available again.

Thanks so much for the strategy, Elimae, and thanks for the website, Xu-Fu.

Turkeys must be faster than 280

Don't forget that flying gains an extra 50% speed when above 50% health, so they would only need a speed of 188 to go first.

Haru wrote on 2018-11-24 22:23:45

**NO LONGER WORKS** Boss gets resilient buff and cannot be re-coma'd.

dngnb8 wrote on 2017-08-04 11:35:05

Throughout this dungeon, you will see Teroclaw Hatchling and Anypet as your 2nd and 3rd options. Pick pets with Wish as your 3rd option. I prefer the Hyjal Wisp with Evasion and Wish. The evasion allows you a round of freedom to cast wish if when need it. It also allows you to dodge things like Whirlpool. Also remember, park your Teroclaw on low health but with Nature's Ward active. NW still heals it on the bench. Between Wish and NW, you should never lose your Hatchling.

Other pets with Wish, Celestial Calf, Magic Lamp, Magical Crawdad and Zao

Aelfraed wrote on 2017-07-28 03:01:28

Not any level 25 pet you want to use later on. They take a lot of damage
