Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

After 4 attempts I declare this strategy to be useless. He kills the tonk on the thrid round every time. Only one lock on lands, and it just scratches him. Chrominius will be dead long before the second needed surge of power.

yep this is what happened for me also

Same for me. 5 battles and they all failed with the same result.

This fight offers nothing much for XP for lvl pet so I just threw another Tonk in 3rd spot and use it when the other two fail. I only do it now if it offers Shinys or Flawless battle stone I can collect with all my alts :)

Worked exactly as described.

Just solo'd with Darkmoon Tonk. Nice!

I put Direbeak Hatchling in 1st slot for his daily quest line and swapped him out for my P/B Iron Starlette (windup Supercharge and (Power Ball when waiting for the supercharge c/d), in second slot. Never needed Chrominius.. (edited)

Still working in SL.

JKrew wrote on 2018-11-28 11:24:44

Used the Anubisath Idol and Chrominius. Start with Anubisath Idol.
1) Sandstorm
2) Switch to Chrominius
3) Bite
4) Bite
5) Howl
6) Surge of Power

Win!

Tia wrote on 2018-06-28 18:06:41

Worked for me. But I put a leveler on the first slot and then switched to Tonk. Needs to be a higher leveler to last throught Stitches Jr Jr's attacks.

The xp from this battle is minimal. There's no point trying to level pets from it.

When Triple EXP Pet Battle week is going on this fight does give some decent EXP. But other than that Eekwibble is right no point trying to level a pet.

Niiläh wrote on 2016-09-24 23:12:07

I was able to solo this with Darkmoon Tonk and lock on. Maybe just luck?

Argent wrote on 2016-09-25 03:47:05

If he uses Cleave a lot (instead of Infected Claw), your Tonk will live through a lot. So yeah, luck.

Winterfall wrote on 2017-08-05 05:09:24

So far my Tonk has solo'd this every time, tested about 20 times.

Quaalude wrote on 2017-02-26 03:25:08

Excellent strategy! My tonk managed to solo this fight on his mechanical rebirth round with about 10 health left. Switched to Missile and Shock and Awe to get more rounds out before being clobbered by Stitches. All in all worked very well.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-04-04 09:48:24

Brillient strategy.

SDC wrote on 2016-12-04 18:53:47

I completed Stitches Jr Jr using Fungal Abomination (1,1,1) and Giant Bone Spider (2,1,1) for the Snowfeather Falcosaur quest (Snowfeather Team Rumble).

Just keep the dots up, and switch to Falcosaur to take the howl hit then switch back to one of the other two pets when he surges. That way none of them get one-shotted.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-01-04 11:55:04

This strat is totally worthless it blocks everything o.o

Did find that using Ghastly Kid 1,2,1 worked just fine, using his ethereal when the abom is wanting to smack you with his big hit!

It seems that @SDC had mistaken the creatures and was writing about Chromadon.

Badjoojoo - SOE wrote on 2017-01-05 00:16:02

Perfect! My Iron Starlette was getting killed w the first strat so tried this. Worked like a charm.
